Description
Battery Rocks
Private commission of Battery Rocks, a local landmark behind Jubilee Pool in Penzance.
This location is a popular spot for locals to get their fix of sea swimming.
As a regular morning swimmer, I wanted to produce a painting with a view of Penzance from the sea! The original photo I used for this painting was taken by Kizzy-Kensa Maeckelberghe, one of the regular morning sea swimmers. This will hopefully be the first in a series of paintings from the sea.
Produced with spray paint, acrylic, Culture Hustle BLK3.0 paint and Posca pens on 90cm x 70cm canvas.
The print is Giclée with pigment ink on archival 235gsm matte paper, limited to an edition of 50, signed and numbered by the artist.
Photographed and printed by Beacon Art Lab.
